Royal Ascot & Windsor
Friday 21 June 2024
There is no event in the social calendar quite as revered as Royal Ascot. After all, it’s reserved for the best; the best in racing, the best in hospitality – and, of course, the best in style. This is racing at its most exquisite. Nothing more, nothing less. And you’re invited!
Whether you’ll be singing around the Bandstand in the Queen Anne Enclosure, cheering from across the track in the Village Enclosure, or savouring a picnic in the Windsor Enclosure, you can look forward to an experience like no other.
The Bull Hotel , Gerards Cross
Overlooking Gerrards Cross Common, The Bull is set in a 17th-century building in beautiful landscaped gardens. Free private parking is available and Gerrards Cross town centre and rail station are just 10 minutes’ walk away. Fresh, seasonal produce is served in the hotel’s modern restaurant. The M40 and the M25 motorways are within a 10-minute drive of the hotel. London Marylebone Rail Station is a 25-minute train journey from Gerrards Cross Rail Station. Heathrow Airport is 25 minutes by car and Legoland and Windsor Castle are both within a 30-minute drive of The Bull. A full English breakfast and a modern European evening menu are served in the Beeches Restaurant. Local beers and 'All Day Dining' are available in the Conservatory Lounge. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. A mini fridge, satellite TV and a hairdryer feature in each modern bedroom. Some rooms have views across the common.
Windsor Enclosure (General Admission)
Enjoy close up views of the Royal Procession as it journeys past the stylish lawns of the Windsor enclosure. The Windsor Enclosure is located along the Straight Mile, on the Grandstand side of the track giving guests prime views of the Royal Procession as they enter through the gates and proceed down the track.
There is no formal Dress Code in the Windsor Enclosure. However, ladies and gentlemen are encouraged to embrace the occasion and dress in smart daywear.
It is recommended that ladies wear smart attire with a hat or fascinator, whilst gentlemen are encouraged to wear a jacket, collared shirt and full-length trousers.
A true celebration of British summertime, the Village Enclosure embraces the vast beauty of Ascot’s unique location. The Village Enclosure takes its place centre stage, looking towards the Grandstand for a thrilling view of the racing action on the home straight.
Live music, al-fresco pop-ups, eclectic street food stalls and cocktail bars make for an exquisite day of fun and frivolity. Guests flaunt their finest wear with a formal dress code and, for those occasions that call for a little luxury, guests have the opportunity to upgrade their dining experiences.
Village Enclosure
The excitement of the racing carries through into the evening in the Village Enclosure, as the Main Stage lights up and the soundtrack of live music plays out to bring an extraordinary end to a fantastic day on the racecourse.
The Village Enclosure offers guests a range of on-the-go food options. From artisanal ice creams and exciting street food outlets to elegant Moët & Chandon Champagne bars, there are plenty of gastronomic delights for racegoers to enjoy.
Enjoy a unique perspective of the Royal Procession and racing, with the Ascot Grandstand as an impressive backdrop. Please, note that trackside viewing is not raised.
From DJs and reinvented brass bands to Jazz and Funk at the bandstand, live music moves the Village Enclosure to a tempo of its own all afternoon.
The Queen Anne Enclosure
Immerse yourself in the full splendour of Royal Ascot with a trip to the Queen Anne Enclosure. As the only public enclosure that grants access to the coveted Parade Ring, Bandstand and Grandstand, the Queen Anne Enclosure provides an unparalleled view of the world-class racing on offer. An outing here is never complete without the joyful singing around the Bandstand, which takes place each day after the racing.
Sip a glass of champagne or take your pick of the many eateries on offer, from the delectable steak and lobster at 1768 Grill & Tea Room to the more casual grab-and-go pizza, bao and toastie stalls.
The Queen Anne Enclosure is our premier public enclosure, at the heart of the action.
The Queen Anne Enclosure has a formal Dress Code which invites racegoers to contribute to a major fashion event. Embrace the occasion and enjoy the whirlwind of colour and style.
The Queen Anne Enclosure is the only public enclosure that grants its guests access to the jubilant Singing Around The Bandstand which takes place each day after racing - an uplifting experience like no other.
