Excursions
Lynton, Lynmouth and Dunster
This full day excursion takes us along the North Devon Coast, firstly to the charming twin resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth, spectacularly situated on the northern edge of the Exmoor National Park and linked by a cliff railway.
In Old Lynton, you will find charming old streets with pubs, cafes, local shops and artisanal treats. We then continue to Dunster, an old medieval village, which retains much of its original character and is dominated by its romantic Norman castle, steeped in legend and history.

Ilfracombe and Woolacombe
Todays excursion takes us to Woolacombe, a lively village, with a friendly, laid-back atmosphere, is best known for its long sandy beach beloved by families and surfers. The beach has been voted one of Britain’s best and lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. Lifeguards ensure safe swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy great waves and clean water.
Ilfracombe - Many of the buildings in the town centre date from the 19th century and it remains refreshingly free of the chains that make other towns exactly like everywhere else. Most of the shops are independent retailers and some have been in the same family for generations.
