Optional Sunday Lunch Jazz at Ronnie Scotts (Approx. £30-£35pp details TBC)
Ronnie Scott’s is one of the world’s most famous jazz clubs and a Great British institution. For over fifty years the club has, by night, welcomed full to bursting audiences who come to experience the greatest names in jazz – from the early days of Dizzy Gillespie and Sarah Vaughan to today’s big stars, Van Morrison, Madeleine Peyroux and Wynton Marsalis.
Three years ago, the club opened its doors during the day to host the Sunday Jazz Lunch. Attracting a lively mix of Londoners and tourists who come for a top notch Sunday roast combined with superb jazz from the UK and beyond in a setting that is welcoming, stylish and informal, yet retains the ambience expected from the great Soho venue.
Now, in recognition that many visitors are families for whom a cultural day out in London would not be complete without a visit to the legendary club, Ronnie Scott’s introduce a brand new kids menu with concessions for under 12’s.
With music ranging from fun, boogie-woogie and jive, to classy vocalists exploring the Great American songbook, there is music to suit every taste. So, for families looking a special celebratory meal, or an addition to a Cultural weekend away, or for parents who simply want to introduce their children to jazz, the Sunday Jazz Lunch us the perfect setting.
