Liverpool Sound City is the largest international music, digital and film festival and conference in the UK, taking pride every year in bringing some of the most exciting breakthrough artists to the city, with previous years seeing the likes of Florence and the Machine, The Maccabees and Ed Sheeran.In it's 12th year after a number of years at different venues, Sound City will be heading back to the Baltic Triangle.Taking place across the first spring bank holiday Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th May, Sound City will once again, be taking over the iconic warehouses, intimate spaces, outdoor stages and pop-up places which form the renascent Baltic Triangle and Cains Brewery areas of the city.
The original cast of the TV series Fame will reunite for the first time on a U.K. stage in 35 years.
Fame U.K. Reunion concerts will take place here in Liverpool on 5 - 6 May 2019 and the cast will be reuniting to perform a selection of your favourite songs from the smash hit series, along with new and original material. Performers from LMA will be backing the show keeping the vibe young and fresh.
The concerts will feature no less than eight original cast members of the Fame TV series: Erica Gimpel (Coco), Valerie Landsburg (Doris), Lee Curreri (Bruno), Carlo Imperato (Danny), P.R. Paul (Montgomery), Cynthia Gibb (Holly), Nia Peeples (Nicole) and Jesse Borrego (Jesse). T
The Kids from Fame are one of the biggest pop acts from the 1980s, emerging from the immensely popular television series Fame. The show ran for six seasons. Five television soundtrack albums were released. Due to huge demand, the cast members did two concert tours as 'The Kids from Fame' in the UK, Europe and Israel, including the Royal Albert Hall.
