Part Time Homeworking Travel Consultant
You will be responsible for selling holidays to a wide range of guests and ensuring their every need is met. Your enthusiasm and first hand knowledge of the travel industry should be infectious and your ability to provide the best service will be paramount.
We are looking for someone with:
• A passion for travel
• Sales experience
• A good all round knowledge of travel
• A knowledge of the Cruise market
• Is well organised
• Approachable and efficient
• Has competent IT skills
• Strong communication skills
If you have no previous experience of this industry but have a passion for travel and an excellent aptitude for learning we would also like to hear from you.
Key Requirements:
• Passion for Travel – Successful applicants will have a passion for travel or will have worked within the travel industry previously.
• Business & Sales Acumen – The ability to deliver sales, service and productivity targets and have the drive and passion to achieve these.
• Excellent Communication Skills – You must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, utilising these skills to create a connection with customers building commitment and trust and linking this to the service you are selling.
• Excellent Listening Skills - The ability to use listening skills to understand customers’ needs and to ensure you approach and handle sensitive issues accordingly.
• Attention to Detail - You will have the ability to accurately capture and interpret customer information
• Experience of Providing Exceptional Customer Service - successful candidates must have experience working within a customer service environment, taking full ownership of the customer journey by following through with all commitments to ensure an effective outcome.
• Flexible & able to use own Initiative - You will be creative in applying solutions and able to think laterally to research the best option for the customer, ultimately matching them to their ideal travel solution.
• Strong PC Skills & Travel System Knowledge - Including Microsoft Office packages and knowledge of travel industry systems( would be an advantage)
