Friday 11 June 2021 (3 Days)
The vibrant, cosmopolitan capital of Wales is far from your average city!
You could think that you were in the Mediterranean.
Where once derelict docks stood is now a fabulous lake with a bustling waterfront harbour with its old wharfs. There is an abundance of museums, art galleries, the excellent millennium centre, millennium stadium,, bars, restaurants and of course one of the most popular visitor destinations is Cardiff Castle where you can discover 200 years of history in the heart of the city.
You may decide to take a boat trip from the quay and get close to the local wildlife in the Wetlands reserve
If you’re obsessed by Doctor Who, you will be pleased to know that Cardiff bay is also home to the Doctor Who Experience. Experience what its like inside the TARDIS, see costumes used on the hit television series, walk the sets and enjoy the interactive exhibits
