Bruges Xmas Markets OFFER

Belgium Christmas Markets

Friday 3 December 2021

Due a to a few cancellation we have some places available at just £349  (Save £50pp)

For fully only need a Day 2 negative lateral flow test upon return (from £12 each)
and hopefully just a negative lateral flow to go into Belgium.  The government website currently shows a negative PCR but it is expected to change soon and complete a self-declaration form for entering France.  We will assist anyone who is struggling with this.
If you set out to design a fairy-tale medieval town, it would be hard to improve on central Bruges (Brugge in Dutch), one of Europe's best preserved cities. Picturesque cobbled lanes and dreamy canals link photogenic market squares lined with soaring towers, historical churches and lane after lane of old whitewashed almshouses.

With its mix of unique and historic architecture and bustling vibe, Kortrijk has a lot to offer. Take a scenic stroll along the beautiful River Leie that flows through the city and past the Broel Towers; it’s the perfect way to see Kortrijk’s picturesque sights. Then there’s also the Texture Museum, it's tell the story of the flax and linen industry and the Kortrijk 1302 multimedia museum.
It isn’t just art that makes Kortrijk a trendsetter: the city is also a hot spot for shopping. It was the first city in Flanders with an entirely pedestrian shopping street, and it continues to be one of the best places to shop. The “K” indoor shopping mall is one of the biggest in Belgium and a great example of what’s on offer. In other words, Kortrijk is the ideal place for a stylish weekend shopping spree!

Ostend is a cosmopolitan city with a harbour, yacht-basin, airport and over 50 hotels. Visitors will be amazed by all there is to see and do. All year round, many activities take place. Some highlights are: Oostende at Anchor, Theatre by the Sea, Sparkling Mondays, Magic Lights in the Park, the Christmas Market with huge ice-skating ramp and Carnival week-end with the well known Dead Rat Ball. Vodcast of the seaside city of Ostend presented by Simon Calder and Ben Ross.
One of Ostend's main, and maybe lesser known, trump cards is the gastronomy. What better place to sample the sea's delicacies than on the seaside. There are many restaurants, ranging from exclusive hot spots to cosy bistros, so there is something to suit everyone's taste and budget. The specialities are Dover Sole, shrimp croquettes and 'tomato filled with shrimps'. There is also plenty to keep you amused later on in the evening such as pubs, clubs and cinema complexes.
