Blackpool Illuminations All-Inclusive
Monday 15 November 2021 (5 Days)
Blackpool The UK’s favourite holiday resort continues to attract millions of visitors. Families and couples, young and old, Blackpool’s unique appeal is that it appeals to everyone. Whether you’re looking for thrills and excitement, family entertainment and historic gems or beautiful gardens and stunning beaches, Blackpool has it all.
Southport The seaside resort of Southport has been a hugely popular tourist destination since the Victorian era. Its pier, a Grade II listed structure, is the second longest in Britain. Napoléon III famously lived in exile in the town before returning to France, where his re-design of the Parisian boulevards was reportedly inspired by Lord Street.
Leave the big city and high street stores behind and explore our boulevards and arcades.
Explore Lord Street and the wrought iron canopies. This tree-lined boulevard evokes a sense of space and the relaxed atmosphere makes shopping a pleasure. Meander in and out of the shops along the way, exploring both high street chains and independent designer shops.
Better still, enjoy alfresco dining or stop for a refreshing break in one of the cafes and bars and that line Lord Street.
Take a look around Wayfarers Shopping Arcade, a Grade ll listed building and home to over 30 independent stores. Throughout the year Wayfarers Arcade also hosts exhibitions and events so when you pop in you could stumble across something different!
A village in the town - Wesley Street, behind Chapel Street, is something you must see when visiting. Quaint colourful independent shops along a bunting lined street.
Nearby Churchtown and Birkdale have plenty of independent shops amongst bars and restaurants - both well worth a visit, especially when you see how quaint Churchtown is with the thatched roof cottages.
Liverpool and Albert Dock
The vibrant heart of Liverpool's historic waterfront, the Albert Dock's the place to play, to see, to eat, drink and stay. Blending old and new, it's contemporary, yet cultured; fun and friendly.
Skipton What’s not to love about Skipton? Immense history, a rich culture, independent shops, food & drink places galore, a famous market an iconic castle, stunning countryside and, perhaps most of all, friendly, fiercely proud and passionate Yorkshire people.
The iconic Imperial Hotel is a grand, nineteenth-century gem that has welcomed a host of royalty, politicians, statesmen and stars of both the stage and screen over the years. The hotel enjoys spectacular views of the beach to the sea and is close to all major attractions.
The four-star Imperial Hotel Blackpool dominates the North Promenade and was one of the first hotels the Victorians built in the new seaside resort of Blackpool. Everything Blackpool has to offer is right on your doorstep and it’s a great base for exploring the surrounding region. Venture out to discover unspoilt beaches on the Fylde Coast and Cumbria’s picturesque lakes and mountains. This stunning Victorian Blackpool hotel boasts 180 modern bedrooms, 9 of which are stunning suites with sea views, it also has an indoor pool, a sauna, hot tub, steam room, a gym and the No.10 bar, which has served drinks to many British Prime Ministers.
